Health, Safety, and Environment Manager

What do we do?

We are a Spanish pharmaceutical company engaged in the research and development, manufacturing and marketing of small molecules and biological medical products.

We likewise use our sales channels to market a number of licensed pharmaceutical products, imaging contrast agents and other products for hospital use, as well as OTC pharmaceuticals.

All of this is carried out through our specialized sales team formed by more than 260 people who promote the products with specialized medical professionals and in hospitals and pharmacies.

What will you do?

- Implement the management system in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

- Advise company management on prevention and environmental protection in accordance with applicable regulations.

- Supervise legal compliance and compliance with internal procedures in environmental, occupational safety, and industrial safety matters.

- Define operational control procedures to manage environmental processes: waste management, discharges, and emissions.

- Prepare occupational risk prevention documentation and work procedures.

- Participate in the development and keep updated the Occupational Risk Prevention Plan and the Emergency and Self-Protection Plan, coordinating the necessary activities for their proper implementation.

- Evaluate and control occupational risks in the company, identifying potential hazards and establishing appropriate preventive measures.

- Conduct periodic inspections and audits in the workplace.

- Investigate workplace accidents.

- Provide training to internal staff and coordinate the delivery of information to workers on occupational risk prevention and environmental matters.

- Ensure coordination of business activities with external contractors.

What will you do?

- Implantar el sistema de gestión conforme a las normas ISO 14001 e ISO 45001.

- Asesorar a la dirección de la empresa en materia de prevención y protección del medio ambiente conforme a la normativa de aplicación.

- Supervisar el cumplimiento legal y establecida en los procedimientos internos en materias de medio ambiente, seguridad laboral e industrial.

- Definir los procedimientos de control operacional para gestionar los procesos medioambientales: gestión de residuos, vertido y emisiones.

- Elaborar documentación de PRL y procedimientos de trabajo.

- Participar en la elaboración y mantener actualizado el Plan de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales y el Plan de Emergencia y Autoprotección, coordinando las actividades necesarias para su correcta implantación.

- Evaluar y controlar los riesgos laborales en la empresa, identificando los posibles peligros y estableciendo medidas preventivas adecuadas.

- Realizar inspecciones y auditorías periódicas en el lugar de trabajo.

- Investigar los accidentes laborales.

- Impartir formación al personal interno y coordinar la entrega de información de los trabajadores en materia de prevención de riesgos laborales y medio ambiente.

- Asegurar las actividades de coordinación de actividades empresariales con contratas externas.
