About the role

We are looking for an Email & Lifecycle Marketing Growth Manager to maximize the business impact of email as a growth channel for GetQR.

You will develop audience segmentation, build personalized lifecycle journeys, and lead structured experimentation to improve conversion, activation, and retention. Working closely with the Email, Growth, Product, and Analytics teams, you will turn customer insights and behavioral data into measurable business results.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical skills, customer understanding, and hands-on experience in lifecycle marketing and experimentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the email and lifecycle marketing growth roadmap.

  • Research customer needs, motivations, and behavior to identify meaningful audience segments.

  • Develop and refine segmentation based on use cases, product behavior, lifecycle stage, and purchase intent.

  • Build personalized onboarding, activation, conversion, retention, and re-engagement journeys for different audiences.

  • Adapt messaging, content, offers, and calls to action to each segment's needs.

  • Define journey triggers, timing, branching logic, and exit conditions.

  • Work with Product and Analytics to identify the data and events needed for segmentation and automation.

  • Prioritize lifecycle opportunities and experiments based on expected business impact.

  • Write clear hypotheses and run A/B tests across messaging, content, offers, timing, and journey structure.

  • Analyze email performance and user behavior to identify growth opportunities and friction points.

  • Partner with the Email Team to implement flows, experiments, and campaign improvements.

  • Measure experiment impact on conversion, activation, revenue, and retention.

  • Maintain a clear experiment backlog, document learnings, and define next steps.

  • Share concise daily experiment updates in the Growth Slack channel.

  • Conduct ongoing customer, market, and competitor research to generate new hypotheses.

  • Monitor deliverability and audience engagement to support sustainable email growth.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in email or lifecycle marketing.

  • At least 2 years of experience in growth experimentation and A/B testing.

  • Strong hands-on experience building audience segments and automated lifecycle journeys.

  • Ability to translate customer research and behavioral data into relevant messaging and effective flows.

  • Experience developing and prioritizing experiments that improve conversion, activation, and retention.

  • Strong copywriting instincts across subject lines, calls to action, and lifecycle content.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to connect email performance to business outcomes.

  • Experience with Customer.io, Mixpanel, or similar marketing automation and analytics platforms.

  • Understanding of event-based automation, personalization, and email deliverability.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Email, Growth, Product, and Analytics teams.

  • Strong organization, prioritization, and clear communication.
