Requirements

Education & certifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic, Industrial, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field
Over 5 years of experience in validation, testing, or quality of electronic products
Practical knowledge of development methodologies (V-model)
Proficiency with tools such as Visure, DOORS, or other requirements management tools
Desirable knowledge and experience:
Validation of electronic products for IoT, energy systems, batteries, solar panels, and satellite/cellular transceivers
Familiarity with quality, electrical safety, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMI/EMC) regulations
Participation in certification processes for electronic products through independent laboratories
Test automation and design of test benches for electronic equipment
Standards such as IEC 61000, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, IEC 62368-1, etc.
Fluent English, especially for speaking and writing technical documentation

The role

What you'll do

Design and execute test and validation plans for electronic products developed by the R&D department
Participate in the complete product lifecycle using methodologies such as the V-model, ensuring requirements traceability
Provide support and advice to Product Owners in the design assurance process and in the development of the testing plan
Validate functionality, performance, reliability, electrical safety, and regulatory compliance
Prepare technical documentation: test specifications, validation reports, non-conformance tracking, support to production management, etc.
Write test reports and results, analyze and provide support for the correction of design errors
Perform functional, environmental, stress, EMC/EMI, compatibility, and electrical safety tests
Interact with external laboratories for regulatory certification processes (CE, etc.)
Collaborate closely with mechanical, hardware, firmware, software, and quality teams to improve processes and results
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations regarding quality, safety, and electromagnetic compatibility
Automate regression tests, with knowledge of Python or similar languages being desirable
