What we're looking for
- At least one year as a manufacturing or industrial maintenance operator.
Nice to have
- Desirable Vocational Training (FP) Intermediate Level in technical disciplines (electricity, electronics).
The role
Operation of machinery corresponding to the packaging area: labeling machine, case packer-former, and palletizer, in order to manufacture products conforming to specifications, both in quantity and quality, and responding to the efficiency required for their machine.
The duties to be performed are as follows:
. Ensuring the correct operation of the machines corresponding to the packaging area (case packers, overpackers, palletizer,...).
. Adapting the labeling of the container to that of the packaging, the type of box, and the palletizing.
. Checking the expiration date of the references to be manufactured according to the production orders.
. Performing the self-controls required in the quality management system.
. Performing the cleaning and maintenance tasks planned during the CIP and, if necessary, assisting the filler operator with them.
. Controlling the temperature in products that require it.
. Control and replenishment of reels for the automatic labeling machines.
. Computerized or manual recording of finished product (reworks, quarantines, etc.).
. Collaboration in restoring the quality of those products that result with defects (rework).
. Changing the status of the pallet to quarantine or rework when appropriate; this action is performed from the terminal they have near their workstation (it is 2 mouse clicks).
. Collection of samples for quality. When the system requests a sample from them (depending on quality preferences), a beacon will indicate to them via a high-pitched beep that they must take a sample of the product being packaged at that very moment; a label will also come out of a small printer at the foot of the machine. Their function is to take the sample (1 pack), stick the label on it, and place it in a refrigerator that they will have nearby.
