STACKIT (Senior) Software Engineer - Kubernetes Orchestration (m/f/d)

• Develop Kubernetes Controllers in a multi-cluster environment to provision and manage cloud resources
• Package developed software components and their dependencies into standardized deployment units to enable targeted deployment into test and production environments
• Document your work comprehensibly and collaborate closely with various cross-functional experts.
• Design security and segmentation strategies specifically tailored to function within air-gapped environments.
• Build and operate the CI/CD infrastructure as well as the internal development environments.

• Experienced Go Developer with a proven track record of developing Kubernetes controllers
• Practical experience operating applications on Kubernetes - ideally, you have also set up and administered clusters from scratch
• Familiarity with Kubernetes orchestrators, preferably based on the Kubernetes Cluster API
• Initial experience with air-gapped systems is highly desirable
• Strong English skills form the foundation for successful communication within our international, agile teams. Knowledge of German is a plus
