The role
At Sener Aeroespacial y Defensa, we want to add a HW Developer for Test Equipment (EGSEs) to our team for test equipment within our Electromechanical Systems (SEM) division in Madrid (Tres Cantos).
What you'll do
You will be part of the multidisciplinary team (hardware, software, and mechanics) that develops the equipment used to test the control electronics and mechanisms of antenna pointing systems, robotic couplings and anchors, telescope focusing and scanning systems, among others. Carrying out the following tasks:
Analyze team requirements
Design equipment at rack, subrack, or box level.
Design electronic boards for communication, motor control, and sensor acquisition
Maintain existing HW, adding new functionalities and providing support against failures
Commission and validate HW and test equipment for certification or production campaigns.
Electronic design at the schematic level and support for PCB positioning and routing activities
Analog and digital simulations
Generation of manufacturing documentation for electronic boards and electronic equipment
Definition of HW validation procedures
Functional testing and environmental testing campaigns for the equipment
