Junior Hardware Engineer for Electronic Equipment

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team (hardware, control, and software) that develops electronic control systems for antenna pointing mechanisms, robotic couplings and anchors, telescope focusing and scanning systems, among others. Specifically, you will be involved in:

• Analyze team requirements

• Perform electronic design at the schematic level and provide support for PCB placement and routing activities.

• Carry out analog and digital simulations.

• Define hardware validation procedures.

• Perform functional testing and participate in equipment environmental testing campaigns.

• Write the associated documentation.

• Attend client reviews.

We want to add to our team a Junior Hardware Development Engineer for our Tres Cantos (Madrid) or Las Arenas (Bilbao) office.

We are an engineering company pioneering the design of satellite technology and equipment for space exploration. In Defense, we tackle the design and production of equipment and systems, including unmanned ones. Our passion for precision has led us to become trusted partners of the main space agencies, government bodies, and companies.

• Education in Electronic, Industrial, or Telecommunications Engineering.

• Advanced level of English.

• Around 2 years of experience in the offered position.

• Experience in detailed design of analog and power circuits.

• Experience in detailed digital circuit design: communication buses, memories, FPGAs.

Additionally, the following knowledge will be valued:

• Actuators and sensors.

• Motor control design.

• Closed-loop control design and analysis knowledge (Matlab / Simulink).

• Knowledge of microprocessor and FPGA development environments.

• Knowledge of standards (ECSS, IPC, MIL, etc.).

• Knowledge of standard electronic interfaces such as communication buses (RS232/RS422, I2C, SPI, CAN bus, Ethernet, ...).

• Analysis methodology for defense and space (Parts Stress Analysis (PSA), Worst case analysis (WCA), Reliability, FEMECA, fault tree, Radiation,...)

• Knowledge of Altium, Pspice/LTspice, VHDL, C, C++, Matlab/Simulink, Python, and Labview.
