What you'll do
Managing all mechanical aspects of projects, mainly in the construction sector.
- Calculations and review of mechanical design and engineering criteria, data sheets, specifications and standards, and scope of work.
- Leadership and technical guidance for mechanical engineers and engineers from other disciplines involved in the projects.
- Preparation and review of equipment requisitions and material packages.
- Promoting and applying safety in design in engineering projects.
- Technical assistance on site:
Supervising and ensuring that the execution of the works complies with the project, regulations, and client standards.
Approvals of equipment and proposed elements.
Resolving issues during construction, issuing technical instructions, and preparing change orders.
Reviewing As-built documentation.
Controlling the correct execution of materials on site, checking layouts, materials, and their proper installation. Ensuring that mechanical installations are carried out properly, safely, and in accordance with client and project standards.
Supporting the Commissioning process.
