Frontend Developer Specialist

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a frontend or full stack web developer in digital products.
• Proficiency in modern HTML and CSS (Flexbox, Grid, responsive design, container queries) and experience with Tailwind CSS or similar tools.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript (union types, narrowing, generics, utility types).
• Experience developing with React/VUE or an equivalent framework: components, hooks, forms, state management, and composition.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating external services.
• Knowledge of frontend testing (Testing Library, Jest, or Vitest) and development best practices: Git, code review, CI/CD.
• Familiarity with modern build tools (Vite) and with large-scale project organization.
• Regular use of AI tools applied to development (code assistants, agents), with judgment regarding the quality and security of the generated code.
• Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and collaborating with product and design teams.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Level of upper-intermediate English (B2).

Hybrid model of work: 50% on-site and 50% remote. (A Coruña)

• If necessary, participate in weekly level 2 support on-call shifts for the team you are part of (on-call ratio 1/5-6 weeks). These would be remunerated.

We are looking for a Web Development Engineer to join the channels development team to build and evolve our web channel.

Your mission will be to design, develop, and maintain modern, fast, and accessible web interfaces, guaranteeing code quality and an excellent customer experience. You will join a multidisciplinary team (design, technology, data, product) where you will work with a stack based on modern JavaScript frameworks and with AI tools integrated into the daily development process.

This is a position with a direct impact on the product our customers use, integrated into the Channels team and reporting to the Channels Tech Leader.

• Develop and evolve the web channel by building solid, accessible, and responsive interfaces with semantic HTML, modern CSS, and Tailwind CSS.
• Implement new functionalities with modern frameworks, applying robust typing, immutability, and component design best practices.
• Work with different rendering strategies (SPA, SSR, SSG) according to performance and SEO needs.
•  Integrate the frontend with REST APIs and external services (identity, payments, transactional platforms), correctly managing loading states, errors, and security.
•  Contribute to the library of reusable components and the design system, collaborating with Product designers to ensure visual consistency and usability.
• Participate in the technical organization and evolution of the project: build tools such as Vite.
• Write tests for components, hooks, and integrations (Testing Library, API mocking) and actively participate in code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.
• Use generative AI tools and code agents in the day-to-day to accelerate development, improve quality, and solve complex problems, with judgment and responsibly.
• Ensure performance (Core Web Vitals), accessibility, and correct analytics instrumentation, in collaboration with Product, CRO, and Data.
• Collaborate in resolving incidents on the web channel and propose continuous improvement actions.
