Product Owner – Security Experience

Required Technical Competencies

• Work Environments: Advanced mastery in project planning and management under Agile methodologies.
• Technical Understanding: Ability to understand technical and design implications with the engineering and architecture teams, without the need to directly design the solution.
• Area of Expertise: Solid knowledge in security solutions, authentication systems, or architectures related to digital security.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum Experience: At least 2 years performing Product Owner or Product Manager functions in the direct management of Information Technology (IT) products.
• Knowledge of the Banking Environment: Demonstrable previous experience and knowledge of the digital ecosystem, as well as the specific service architecture of BBVA.
• Technical Specialization: Solid knowledge in cybersecurity, authentication solutions, or tools related to digital security.
• Work Methodologies: Practical experience in Agile methodologies, project planning and management, backlog refinement, and prioritization.
• Minimum Education: Higher Vocational Training degree (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior) or equivalent.
• Language: Spanish Expert level.

• Technical and Functional Liaison: Ability to work with engineering, architecture, UX, and security teams, understanding the technical implications of solutions without the need to design them.
• Value-Oriented Management: Ability to prioritize tasks based on impact analysis, business value, risks, and dependencies.
• Global Vision: Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and drive initiatives transversally across different geographies.

The professional will join as the main link between business needs and technological execution for a major international banking entity (BBVA), leading the evolution of digital products focused on the security experience.

Functional Responsibilities

• Product Vision: Define the functional vision of the cybersecurity product and lead its evolution autonomously.
• Requirements Management: Gather business needs and transform them into concrete initiatives, epics, and functionalities.
• Backlog Management: Prioritize and refine the product backlog based on value, impact, risks, and project dependencies.
• Multidisciplinary Coordination: Act as a facilitator and point of connection between the business, user experience (UX), architecture, engineering, and security teams.
• Monitoring and Control: Lead the control of deliveries, perform functional validation, monitor KPIs, and analyze the results obtained.
• International Liaison: Drive different initiatives acting as a key interlocutor between the business and technology areas across the bank's various geographies.

Modality: Hybrid, working mainly remotely with the obligation to make occasional visits to the client's headquarters in the capital.
