The role

We need to recruit an IT Systems and Infrastructure Administrator to participate in a technological project within an industrial environment, located in Vitoria-Gasteiz or surroundings. We are looking for a profile oriented towards the administration, maintenance, and support of technological infrastructures and corporate applications, in both office and plant environments.

The selected person will be responsible for administering and supporting the existing IT infrastructure, including Oracle and SQL databases, Unix, Linux, and Windows Server operating systems, VMware and Citrix virtualization platforms, and communication elements such as switches, firewalls, cabling, WiFi access points, and printers. They will also participate in the management of connectivity, information security and confidentiality, backup and data recovery systems, and the availability of computer equipment.

Likewise, they will collaborate in the definition and implementation of new products, applications, and systems, advising development teams during their deployment and evolution. They will participate in the planning of hardware and software maintenance, coordinating interventions with the affected teams and users.

They will also propose technological improvements to adapt the information systems platform to market evolution, maintaining security, access, and data recovery standards, and contributing to cost optimization.
