Surveying Engineer (Railway Works)

The SGS construction team is selecting a Surveying Engineer with experience in railway works. 

🧩Your main duties will be: 

• Carrying out topographical surveys and setting out on railway works.

• Geometric control and monitoring of the works: alignment, profiles, structures, embankments and track.

• Processing topographical data and preparing reports.

• Coordination with the site management and production teams.

• Verification of measurements and technical support during execution.

🎯What are we looking for?

• Training in Surveying Engineering or Higher Technical Training in Surveying is required.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in civil works projects; specific experience in railway works will be valued.

• Knowledge of instrumentation (GPS, total station, levelling…) and surveying software.

• Driving licence and availability to travel within the province.

** The works are located in the province of Huesca.

Ability to work autonomously, good communication skills with site teams and management, organisation, precision and quality orientation, adaptability to site environments and problem-solving.

El equipo de construcción de SGS está seleccionando un/a Ingeniero/a en Topografía con experiencia en obras ferroviarias. 

🧩Tus funciones principales serán: 

• Realización de levantamientos topográficos y replanteos en obra ferroviaria.

• Control y seguimiento geométrico de la obra: trazado, perfiles, estructuras, terraplenes y vía.

• Procesamiento de datos topográficos y elaboración de informes.

• Coordinación con jefatura de obra y equipos de producción.

• Verificación de mediciones y soporte técnico durante la ejecución.

🎯Qué buscamos?

• Se requiere formación en Ingeniería en Topografía o CFGS en Topografía.

• Experiencia mínima de 1 año en proyectos de obra civil; se valorará experiencia específica en obra ferroviaria.

• Conocimientos de instrumentación (GPS, estación total, nivelación…) y software de topografía.

• Carnet de conducir y disponibilidad para desplazarse dentro de la provincia.

** La obra está situada en la provincia de Huesca.

Capacidad para trabajar de forma autónoma, buenas habilidades de comunicación con equipos de obra y dirección, organización, precisión y orientación a la calidad, adaptación a entornos de obra y a la resolución de problemas.
