About the role

The SGS construction team is selecting a Surveying Engineer with experience in railway works. 

🧩Your main duties will be: 

What you'll do

  • Carrying out topographical surveys and setting out on railway works.

  • Geometric control and monitoring of the works: alignment, profiles, structures, embankments and track.

  • Processing topographical data and preparing reports.

  • Coordination with the site management and production teams.

  • Verification of measurements and technical support during execution.

Requirements

🎯What are we looking for?

  • Training in Surveying Engineering or Higher Technical Training in Surveying is required.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in civil works projects; specific experience in railway works will be valued.

  • Knowledge of instrumentation (GPS, total station, levelling…) and surveying software.

  • Driving licence and availability to travel within the province.

** The works are located in the province of Huesca.

Competency profile

Ability to work autonomously, good communication skills with site teams and management, organisation, precision and quality orientation, adaptability to site environments and problem-solving.
