About the role

Your duties within the team:

What you'll do

  • You will verify the volumes of MARPOL waste discharged from each vessel, together with a service provider.
  • You will coordinate activities with various service providers in the port.
  • You will report any incidents found during inspections to the relevant authorities.
  • You will complete inspection reports for each vessel served and file them.

Requirements

What do you need to meet?

  • You hold a CFGM or CFGS qualification in any specialty. 
  • You have an English level of A2. 

  • You have a B1 driving license and a vehicle (motorbike/car) to get to your workplace (Port of Barcelona).

  • No prior experience is required; at SGS, we will train you so you can perform your duties successfully.

  • IMPORTANT: you are available to work flexible, rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday.
