What we're looking for

In the absence of the above: A minimum of one year of experience in an industrial environment performing similar functions is required.
Proficiency in the use of metrological measurement tools (calipers, laser, etc.).

Nice to have

Desirable: Official certification in Non-Destructive Testing MT (Magnetic Particle) and VT (Visual Inspection).
Alternative: Intermediate Vocational Training related to the industrial sector.
Demonstrable previous experience working in industrial environments (experience in the metal, wind, or heavy boilermaking sectors is valued).
English: Conversational level (highly valued for dealing with customers/suppliers).

We are looking for a Boilermaking Quality Inspector.

Your main mission will be to ensure strict compliance with customer requirements, applicable regulations, and company standards in the production processes of Cutting and Beveling, Boilermaking, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDTs).

You will work under the direct supervision of the Team Leader, collaborating closely with the production area to guarantee the highest levels of product excellence.

What you'll do

1. Testing, Visual Inspection, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDTs)

Perform Visual Inspection (VT) of plates, weld seams, sleeves, and heated areas.
Identify and mark non-conformity points on parts for subsequent repair.
Execute Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) to detect possible defects in the plate and weld seams.

2. Receiving Control and Dimensional Control.

Use precision measurement equipment (thickness gauges, laser distance meters, calipers, tape measures) to validate requirements.
Exhaustive dimensional control of variables (diameters, lengths, perimeters, thicknesses) and verification of the correct position of sleeves and brackets.
Collect, verify, and ensure complete traceability of products throughout the manufacturing process.
Officially draft and record inspection reports (VT, MT), dimensional measurements, misalignments, and Non-Conformities (NC).
Accompany and attend to visits from customers and suppliers regarding inspection matters in the absence of the Team Leader.
Train quality and production colleagues regarding modifications to work instructions.

How you'll work

Shift schedule: morning, afternoon, and night.
