Requirements

What we're looking for

University degree in a scientific or technical discipline, or a Higher Vocational Training Technician degree.
Previous experience in a similar position is valued.
Problem-solving ability and work organization.

The role

DEKRA Spain, a global organization with more than 50,000 employees and a presence in more than 60 countries, is looking to hire a Water and Waste Technician (m/f/d) for its DEKRA Industrial division, in Barcelona (Sant Cugat del Vallès).

We offer you the opportunity to be part of a team specialized in the control and characterization of water and waste, participating in technical activities related to environmental control, water body quality, and waste management.

We are looking for a person with a scientific or technical background, who is responsible and organized, to participate in the execution of activities, the supervision of results, and the preparation of technical reports, contributing to ensuring the quality of the services provided.

What you'll do

What you will do on a day-to-day basis

Plan the necessary activities in coordination with the department manager or technical manager.
Execute, coordinate, and supervise activities, including sample management where appropriate.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment in accordance with the quality system.
Supervise activity records before their integration into final reports.
Prepare and sign technical reports.
Manage and resolve files with proficiency.
Resolve technical doubts from clients.
Participate in commercial support.
