Development, Implementation and Management Manager - Calibration and Metrology Laboratory - Northern Zone

🚀 What will be your mission?

You will be the person responsible for coordinating the operation of the laboratory, leading the technical team and ensuring that all calibration work is carried out in accordance with the highest standards of quality, traceability and technical competence.

In addition, you will actively participate in the continuous improvement of the laboratory, the development of new procedures and technical relations with clients.

🧩 What will you do on a day-to-day basis?

- Coordination and management of the work to be carried out.

- Interpretation and implementation of regulations (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, EA guides, ILAC, etc.)

- Development and implementation of calibration procedures and methods.

- Ensuring technical validity of results, including uncertainty evaluation, traceability and acceptance criteria.

- Supervision and/or training of technical staff

- Commercial management and technical advice to clients.

• Experience in gas laboratories, instrumentation or metrology.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and laboratory accreditation.
• Knowledge of specific regulations:
  • UNE-EN ISO 6145-7
  • CEM QU-012
• Experience in uncertainty calculations, method validation and metrological traceability.

🎓 What are we looking for?

Education

• Engineering in:
  • Chemistry
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering

or

• Higher Level Vocational Training in:
  • Industrial Chemistry
  • Laboratory Analysis and Quality Control
  • Industrial Maintenance
  • Instrumentation or related qualifications.

Experience

• Minimum experience of 5 years in a similar position within the field of metrology, calibration or technical laboratories.
• Experience coordinating teams and managing technical projects.
• Solid knowledge of quality systems and client relations.

Languages

• Advanced level of English, with the ability to communicate fluently and understand specialized technical documentation.

Computer Science

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

• Availability to travel, mainly within the northern area.
• Valid driver's license.

- Coordinación y gestión de los trabajos a realizar.

- Interpretación e implantación de normativas (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, guías EA, ILAC, etc)

- Desarrollo e implantación de procedimientos y métodos de calibración.

- Garantizar la validez técnica de los resultados, incluyendo evaluación de incertidumbre, trazabilidad y criterios de aceptación.

- Supervisión y/o formación del personal técnico

- Gestión comercial y asesoramiento técnico a clientes.

• Experiencia en laboratorios de gases, instrumentación o metrología.
• Conocimiento de sistemas de gestión de calidad y acreditación de laboratorios.
• Conocimientos de normativa específica:

• Experiencia en cálculos de incertidumbre, validación de métodos y trazabilidad metrológica.

Experiencia

• Experiencia mínima de 5 años en un puesto similar dentro del ámbito de la metrología, calibración o laboratorios técnicos.
• Experiencia coordinando equipos y gestionando proyectos técnicos.
• Conocimientos sólidos en sistemas de calidad y relación con clientes.

Idiomas

• Nivel alto de inglés, con capacidad para comunicarse con fluidez y comprender documentación técnica especializada.

Informática

• Manejo habitual de Microsoft Office, especialmente Excel y Word.

• Disponibilidad para viajar, principalmente por la zona norte.
• Carné de conducir.
