We are looking for a Mechanical Structural Engineer to join one of our teams in Gijón.

What you'll do

Analysis and calculation of steel structures (static, dynamic, seismic).
Conducting technical and economic feasibility studies.
Design and sizing of structural components and systems.
Review of plans and technical specifications.
Use of calculation software and 3D modeling (e.g., SAP2000, CYPE, Tekla, SolidWorks).
Preparation of calculation reports and technical documentation.
Coordination with other departments (design, production, assembly).
Project management and schedule tracking.
Resolving technical incidents.

Requirements

Degree or Master's in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in the calculation and design of steel structures.
Advanced knowledge of applicable regulations (CTE, Eurocodes, etc.).
Experience in static, dynamic, and seismic analysis.
Knowledge of software such as SAP2000, Robot, Strand7, or Rstab.
English level B2.
