Requirements

What we're looking for

Degree in Electrical, Industrial Engineering or similar.
Experience in the design and development of industrial LV and MV electrical installations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of EPLAN. Experience with ETAP will be valued.
Knowledge of electrical calculations, protection systems and power systems.
English level B2 or higher to interpret technical documentation and take part in international environments.
Customer focus, organizational skills and a liking for teamwork.
Interest in taking part in complete projects, adding value from engineering through to commissioning.

The role

Would you like to take part in industrial electrical projects from the design phase through to commissioning? Are you looking for a company where you can develop your technical career in a close-knit, flexible environment with high-level projects?

At ySondos we are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join an electrical engineering firm located in Gijón, made up of more than 200 professionals and recognized for its human quality, its close-knit approach and its commitment to people development.

What you'll do

Designing low and medium voltage electrical installations for industrial projects.
Preparing layout drawings for equipment, conduits, cable trays and grounding systems.
Developing single-line, three-line and interconnection diagrams.
Designing electrical panels, AC/DC schematics and protection systems.
Performing electrical calculations related to cables, transformers, batteries, lighting and grounding systems.
Participating in electrical power, short-circuit, protection coordination and arc flash studies.
Preparing technical specifications and project documentation.
Providing technical support during the construction, commissioning and start-up phases.
Coordinating and supervising the documentation developed by the drafting team.
