What we're looking for

● Currently pursuing a University Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field, demonstrating a solid academic foundation.

● Possess a strong interest in digitalization, process improvement, and operations within the renewable energy sector, showcasing a commitment to industry advancements.

● Proficient in data analytics and visualization, with skills in Power BI dashboard development, data modeling, and structuring to support informed decision-making.

● Experienced in data validation and quality control, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data used in business processes.

● Strong capabilities in business process management, including process mapping, workflow documentation, requirements gathering, and identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

● Demonstrate professional and behavioral skills such as analytical problem-solving, effective English communication, and stakeholder engagement and collaboration.

Nice to have

● Have prior exposure or academic project experience with Power BI and advanced Excel, which is highly preferred for effective data analysis and visualization.

The role

The Blades Department within the Onshore Wind Power division requires an analytical Intern to support the mapping, understanding, and digitalization of key operational processes to drive business continuity. Located in Spain, this temporary 12-month role connects operational workflows with digital solutions to enhance overall efficiency in wind power onshore operations. To address these business aims, the role focuses on process mapping and data analytics. This involves engaging with cross-functional teams to document workflows, identifying operational bottlenecks, and translating these insights into functional Power BI dashboards and automated planning tools. Given the focus on process digitalization and business intelligence, the ideal candidate will be currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Data Science, or Business Analytics. Strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in Power BI and Excel, and effective communication skills in English are essential to succeed in this role.

What you'll do

  • The role involves collaborating with operational teams, including engineers, project managers, and planners, to gain a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end blades operational processes.
  • You will analyze and identify process bottlenecks, operational inefficiencies, and reporting gaps across various projects and services to enhance overall performance.
  • The position requires mapping, documenting, and maintaining existing workflows, responsibilities, and data flows within the department to ensure clarity and accountability.
  • You will be responsible for collecting, validating, and structuring operational data from multiple disparate sources, ensuring data integrity for accurate analysis.
  • The role includes translating business and operational requirements into functional Power BI dashboards and automated planning solutions that facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Additionally, you will assist in the deployment and adoption of digital tools aimed at reducing manual efforts and improving tracking efficiency across operations.
