Requirements

What we're looking for

  • A university degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Solid knowledge of environmental protection and applicable legislation, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Trained in Basic Level occupational risk prevention with at least 5 years of proven experience in environmental protection roles.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, enabling effective information sharing with teams.
  • A results-oriented mindset with the ability to implement preventive measures and collaborate across departments.

Nice to have

  • Ideally, you have experience in project management and a passion for sustainability.

The role

Join us as the Environmental Site Manager on-site in beautiful Alcudia, Mallorca, Spain, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that environmental protection activities are seamlessly integrated into our project. You will collaborate closely with diverse teams, including management, engineering, and commissioning, to coordinate all environmental aspects of the project. Imagine providing technical expertise and leadership throughout the project lifecycle while supporting the Health & Safety Manager in reinforcing safety activities. Your proactive approach will help anticipate environmental challenges and ensure compliance with regulations, making a significant impact on our commitment to sustainability.

What you'll do

  • Advise teams on implementing environmental procedures and assist where necessary.
  • Ensure and control the reviews of Environmental Plans submitted by other parties working on-site.
  • Coordinate environmental measures taken by various parties to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with on-site personnel, particularly in Environmental and H&S roles, to facilitate training and compliance.
  • Compile and report environmental statistics to project management and the customer, ensuring transparency and accountability.
