The role

Siroko, a leading brand in the sportswear sector, passionate about offering innovative and high-quality products to our customers; therefore, we want to strengthen our team and are looking for a Fashion Buyer to join our Product department.

What you'll do

Within the Purchasing department, you will work in close collaboration with the Design, Quality, Sales, and Logistics teams, participating in the entire creation process of our collections: from product development and selection to purchasing and production monitoring.

Your objective will be to obtain the right product, with the expected quality, at the target cost, and within the established deadlines, combining a product vision with a clear commercial orientation.

- Manage the development and purchasing of products in the assigned categories, working jointly with Design and suppliers from the early stages of the collection until it enters production.

- Maintain continuous contact with our supplier network, as well as identify, evaluate, and select new suppliers and production markets.

- Negotiate prices, costs, MOQ, commercial conditions, production capacities, and delivery deadlines, seeking to achieve the established cost and margin objectives.

- Work alongside Design and suppliers on product development and feasibility, providing solutions in materials, fabrics, finishes, construction, and production processes.

- Monitor the development of samples and prototypes, coordinating feedback and modifications with the different teams involved until the product is approved for production.

- Ensure that the developed products meet the established objectives for design, quality, cost, and deadline.

- Manage and monitor purchase orders and the production calendar, anticipating possible deviations and working with suppliers and internal teams to guarantee delivery dates.

- Participate in the planning of purchase quantities, taking into account sales forecasts, historical data, stock, turnover, and commercial needs.

- Monitor and analyze sales of the assigned categories, identifying best sellers, slow movers, replenishment opportunities, and product needs.

- Analyze and control costs and margins, identifying opportunities for optimization and profitability improvement.

- Evaluate supplier performance in terms of price, quality, lead time, production capacity, service, and compliance with dates.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of national and international competition, analyzing product, materials, prices, trends, and positioning.

- Collaborate with the different teams involved to ensure correct coordination between product development, purchasing, quality, production, and logistics.
