The role
➡️ Your mission (if you choose to accept it)
As People Operations Manager, you will lead the People Ops / Generalist area alongside one person on your team and work closely with our Head of People, to whom you will report directly. You will have your hands in the dough in the day-to-day and, at the same time, real leeway to shape the department.
We are looking for someone with initiative, assertiveness, and their own judgment, who believes in People & Culture best practices and cannot help but ask "what if we do it better?". You will also be the point of reference for the team in the Gijón office.
We love technology and we are looking for someone who thinks the same: someone who detects repetitive tasks and looks for ways to automate them, so that we can dedicate our time to what adds value, with a human touch. You like to iterate, get to the root of problems, and solve them without adding noise. And, above all, you understand that People is not a service department, but a strategic business partner.
What you'll do
💼 Your day-to-day
- Leading the People Operations area, supporting and developing the person on your team and ensuring that People & Culture operations run in an agile and reliable manner.
- Reviewing, redesigning, and implementing People processes, detecting what we can do better and establishing best practices.
- Evaluating and optimizing HRIS systems and tools, deciding what stays, what is improved, and what is retired, and ensuring that the team adopts them.
- Participating in the design and implementation of the compensation and benefits (C&B) policy, together with the Head of People.
- Playing an important role in building solid hiring, onboarding, and retention practices that accompany our growth and make people want to stay.
- Being the People point of contact in the Gijón office, with a close relationship with the team and attentive to their day-to-day.
- Driving People & Culture culture and best practices throughout the organization.
