The role
We are looking for a Linux Systems and Virtualization Technician to join the operations and support area. The selected person will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of client infrastructures, as well as the management of Stackscale's internal infrastructure and specialized technical support for our clients.
What you'll do
- Install, configure, and maintain virtualization environments based on VMware and Proxmox.
- Administer and monitor internal and client Linux infrastructures.
- Manage NAS/SAN storage systems (NFS, iSCSI, NetApp ONTAP).
- Configure and maintain network systems based on Arista, Juniper, and Cisco.
- Manage physical servers, including firmware application, hardware updates, and incident diagnosis.
- Provide technical support to clients and resolve incidents.
- Automate tasks through scripting (Python, Bash, Saltstack) and orchestration tools.
- Collaborate with the R&D department in the design and implementation of new technical solutions.
- Document procedures, configurations, and technical actions.
