About the role

Our Young Talent Program is a unique opportunity for recent graduates in engineering seeking a permanent, high-impact role in the railway sector.

Over 12 months, you will embark on a training program that will allow you to explore different key departments at Talgo, gaining a 360º view of the company. Your mission will be to fully understand the train lifecycle and the relationships between the various areas, from the bidding phase to product operation.

Upon completing the program, you will continue your experience by joining one of our technical teams.

What you'll do

You will join the company at our headquarters in Las Matas (Madrid), where you will take part in a training plan designed to give you an in-depth understanding of how the company works:

  • You will understand the complete train lifecycle, from design and development to manufacturing, validation, and commissioning.
  • You will learn how our trains are designed and developed, collaborating with engineering teams across different project phases.
  • You will collaborate during the testing, validation, and commissioning phase, learning about the train's real-world performance in operation.
  • You will rotate through different areas to gain a cross-functional perspective of the business.

What we're looking for

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Automation Engineering, or similar fields.
  • Availability to start in October 2026. It is essential to have completed your degree before the start date.
  • No previous experience is required.
  • Minimum C1 level of English. Knowledge of other languages will be valued.
  • Availability to work rotating shifts or travel during the program.
  • Interest in starting your career in the railway sector.
