What we're looking for

Experience in Linux systems administration, especially Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Experience in VMware server administration and Intel infrastructure.
Knowledge of Red Hat Satellite and RHEL clusters with Pacemaker.
Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, updates, and system hardening.
Knowledge of virtualization, server migration, and backup management.
Certification Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Specialist.

The role

VMware / Red Hat Systems Administrator

We are looking for a Systems Administrator with experience in VMware, RHEL, and infrastructure administration, to join a public sector project. The selected person will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, updating, and troubleshooting of incidents on physical and virtual servers, guaranteeing the stability, security, and availability of the systems.

What you'll do

Advanced administration of Intel servers, VMware environments, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.
Administration of Red Hat Satellite for infrastructure management.
Administration and maintenance of RHEL clusters based on Pacemaker.
Maintenance and troubleshooting of incidents on physical and virtual servers, including hardware, firmware, operating systems, and base software.
Application of periodic and specific updates.
Management of configuration changes in servers and services to meet operational needs and correct vulnerabilities.
Hardening and securing of operating systems.
Installation, configuration, cloning, and migration of physical and virtual servers.
Management and administration of platform backups.

How you'll work

Location: Madrid
Modality: 100% on-site
Sector: Public
Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00
Working day: 40 hours per week
On-call: One week per month, once the training and integration period into the service has been completed.

100% on-site modality in Madrid.
Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
Schedule from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00.
One week of on-call duty per month, after initial training.
