Degree, Engineering, or Technical Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience in complex technological environments with more than 5,000 active users.
Demonstrable experience in Microsoft Windows Server.
Experience with .NET technologies.
Experience in Linux systems administration.
Experience with IIS, Tomcat, and/or Nginx.

The role

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join a technological infrastructure project related to the educational information systems of the Government of the Canary Islands.

The selected person will be responsible for the management, administration, maintenance, and evolution of infrastructures in complex environments, working with application servers, DevOps tools, automation, and monitoring.

What you'll do

Installation, configuration, administration, and updating of application servers:
- IIS
- Tomcat
- Nginx
Management and maintenance of development, pre-production, and production environments.
Administration of Windows Server and Linux systems.
Backup management and access control.
Administration and implementation of continuous integration and quality tools:
- Jenkins
- SonarQube
Management of code repositories with GitLab.
Management of artifacts using Nexus.
Automation of tasks through scripting.
Log analysis and resolution of performance incidents.
Support and maintenance of highly complex technological environments.
Collaboration with development, systems, and operations teams.
