Quality and Supplier Management Technician – Food Sector

• University degree in Food Science and Technology, Agricultural Engineering, or similar.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality within the food sector.

• Experience in supplier management and quality documentation.

• Experience in audits and compliance with requirements under IFS regulations.

• Experience in managing supplier specifications.

• Communication and negotiation skills with suppliers.

• Minimum B2 English, both for communication with suppliers and with international customers.

• Organized, decisive profile with monitoring capabilities.

• Experience in purchasing and procurement, especially regarding raw materials and frozen products, will be valued.

• Experience in transport management and coordination will be valued.

• Availability to perform occasional travel.

We are looking for a Quality and Supplier Management Technician to join a food sector company specialized in the production of semi-finished fruit and vegetable products for the food industry, with an international presence.

The selected person will join the Quality area, participating in document management and supplier evaluation, ensuring compliance with quality requirements and IFS regulations.

We are looking for an organized, decisive profile with communication and negotiation skills, especially in relationships with suppliers and customers.

• Manage documentation and quality requirements of suppliers.

• Evaluate and monitor suppliers in accordance with established quality standards.

• Manage specifications and technical documentation from suppliers.

• Ensure compliance with the requirements established by IFS regulations.

• Participate in quality audits and in the monitoring of potential incidents.

• Manage and review documentation related to raw materials and products.

• Maintain communication with suppliers and customers regarding quality matters.

• Participate in customer visits and audits.

• Coordinate and monitor actions derived from audits or incidents.

• Collaborate with other departments on aspects related to quality, purchasing, and procurement.

• Occasionally participate in the management and coordination of transport.

• Perform occasional travel when necessary.
