Biomass Shift Assistant

Operate and supervise the biomass plant systems and equipment under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, ensuring that all operating variables are maintained within established limits and guaranteeing safe and efficient operation, minimizing risks to people, facilities, and the environment.
1. Operate and control the plant systems and equipment, ensuring their correct functioning.
2. Assist the Shift Supervisor in startups, shutdowns, and operational maneuvers.
3. Execute equipment lockouts and supervise their compliance during maintenance work.
4. Handle biomass unloading equipment, such as overhead cranes and telescopic machines.
5. Keep operational records, prepare reports, and report anomalies.
6. Supervise compliance with safety and environmental regulations by internal and external personnel.
7. Collaborate in the management of spare parts and materials, including the reception and storage of chemical products.
8. Control the water generation process for the water-steam cycle and supervise its quality.
9. Monitor process emissions and take measures to ensure regulatory compliance.
10. Perform operational rounds to verify equipment status and identify improvements.
11. Participate in the updating of operating procedures and maneuver plans.
12. Support the investigation and proposal of technological improvements to optimize plant efficiency.
13. Act as a preventive resource in high-risk tasks and participate in emergency drills.
14. Assume the responsibilities of the Shift Supervisor in their absence.
