The Labor Law Legal Counsel area, belonging to the General Secretariat and the Board of Directors and Management of Legal Services, aims to provide rigorous and high-quality legal advice with special emphasis on supporting the Labor Relations and Human Resources Departments.

Labor law advice to all Telefónica Group companies in Spain; Labor Litigation: defense and representation in court for all aforementioned companies, drafting all types of procedural documents (lawsuits, appeals, etc.), preparation and attendance at conciliation hearings, trials, mediations, etc.; strategic labor advice providing services to the Labor Relations and/or Human Resources area in strategy design; advice on collective bargaining processes, such as the negotiation of collective agreements, company agreements, and collective impact processes regarding working conditions; labor law advice in strategic operations (mergers, acquisitions, transfer of autonomous production units, etc.); preparation and attendance at Labor Inspections; training, monitoring, and study of legislative and jurisprudential developments.
