Candidate Requirements: We are looking for a professional with the following qualities and experience:

• Proven Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role as Maître or Head of Dining Room in events or high-end catering.
• Knowledge: Solid knowledge of protocol, table service, wines and food pairings.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage work teams.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and staff.

• Flexible Schedule: Availability to work mainly on weekends (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays).

Job Responsibilities: As a Maître, you will be the primary person responsible for the coordination and supervision of the floor service during events. Your duties will include, among others:

• Team Management: Lead, motivate and train the waiting staff, ensuring optimal performance and a positive working environment.
• Planning and Organisation: Collaborate with the events organisation team to plan table allocation, service layout and workflows.
• Service Supervision: Ensure that food and beverage service is executed efficiently, professionally and in line with quality standards.
• Customer Service: Act as the main point of contact for clients during the event, resolving any issues quickly and effectively, and guaranteeing their complete satisfaction.
• Resource Management: Supervise the inventory of tableware, linens and other materials needed for service, ensuring their proper use and care.
• Coordination with the Kitchen: Maintain fluid and constant communication with the kitchen team to ensure synchronisation between food preparation and dining room service.
