We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician for the agri-food sector, whose main mission will be to guarantee the correct functioning of machinery, facilities, and production equipment, ensuring process continuity, personal safety, and the quality of the final product.

The selected person will be in charge of the preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial machinery, including mills, mixers, pelletizers, conveyors, and other auxiliary equipment. Their functions will include the detection, diagnosis, and resolution of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults, as well as the repair or replacement of components such as bearings, belts, motors, and gearboxes. Likewise, they will perform the adjustment and calibration of equipment with the objective of guaranteeing efficient and continuous production.

Additionally, they will provide technical support to the production area, verifying the correct startup and shutdown of lines, minimizing unplanned downtime, and actively collaborating in process improvement and equipment optimization. Regarding health and safety, they will be responsible for complying with and applying industrial safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and ensuring order and cleanliness in technical areas, paying special attention to the prevention of fire and explosion risks caused by dust inherent to the production environment.

Equally, they will be responsible for the control and documentation of work performed, the recording of detected faults, the communication of spare part and tool requirements, as well as providing support in technical inspections and internal or external audits. They will also perform maintenance tasks for general facilities, such as electrical systems, lighting, compressed air, and water, as well as small welding, plumbing, and structural repairs.

Finally, they will ensure compliance with sanitary, quality, and food safety regulations, ensuring that equipment does not affect the quality of the feed or generate contamination risks, in accordance with applicable standards.
