Mechanical Manufacturing Technician

We are looking for a Mechanical Manufacturing Technician to join the R&D team and build, with your own hands, the parts that shape the next generation of THEKER robots. This role is the bridge between design and real hardware: when an engineer needs to validate a concept, you turn it into a tangible part.

You will work in the R&D workshop alongside the mechanical engineering team, manufacturing and adjusting components for the prototypes we test every week. Speed matters. The quality of the prototype and iteration times depend directly on the person in this role.

Your day-to-day will combine machining, CAM program preparation, sheet metal cutting and bending, and rework on existing parts. You will also be responsible for keeping the workshop operational and managing the inventory of mechanical components so the team never stops due to a lack of materials.

• Manufacturing prototype parts through machining and other workshop processes.

• Preparing CAM programs from the engineering team's designs.

• Performing sheet metal cutting and bending according to development needs.

• Making modifications and adjustments (rework) to existing parts for rapid iterations.

• Providing direct support to the engineering team in building and assembling prototypes.

• Keeping the workshop organized, clean, and fully operational at all times.

• Managing the inventory of materials and mechanical components for the R&D area.

• Proposing improvements to manufacturing processes whenever you spot opportunities.

• Previous experience in a workshop, with CNC or conventional machining.

• Knowledge of CAM and experience preparing manufacturing programs.

• Experience with sheet metal laser cutting and bending.

• Basic CAD knowledge and experience with reworking parts.

Buscamos un/a Técnico de fabricación mecánica para incorporarse al equipo de I+D y fabricar, con sus propias manos, las piezas que dan forma a la siguiente generación de robots de THEKER. Este rol es el puente entre el diseño y el hardware real: cuando un ingeniero necesita validar un concepto, tú lo conviertes en una pieza tangible.

Trabajarás en el taller de I+D junto al equipo de ingeniería mecánica, fabricando y ajustando componentes para los prototipos que probamos cada semana. La velocidad importa. La calidad del prototipo y los tiempos de iteración dependen directamente de la persona que ocupa este puesto.

Tu día a día combinará mecanizado, preparación de programas CAM, corte y plegado de chapa, y reworks sobre piezas existentes. También serás responsable de mantener el taller operativo y de gestionar el stock de componentes mecánicos para que el equipo nunca se detenga por falta de material.

• Fabricar piezas para prototipos mediante mecanizado y otros procesos de taller.

• Preparar programas CAM a partir de los diseños del equipo de ingeniería.

• Ejecutar cortes y plegados de chapa según las necesidades de desarrollo.

• Realizar modificaciones y ajustes (rework) sobre piezas existentes para iteraciones rápidas.

• Dar soporte directo al equipo de ingeniería en la construcción y montaje de prototipos.

• Mantener el taller organizado, limpio y operativo en todo momento.

• Gestionar el stock de materiales y componentes mecánicos del área de I+D.

• Proponer mejoras en los procesos de fabricación cuando detectes oportunidades.

• Experiencia previa en taller, en CNC o mecanizado convencional.

• Conocimientos de CAM y experiencia preparando programas de fabricación.

• Experiencia con corte láser y plegado de chapa.

• Conocimientos básicos de CAD y experiencia con rework de piezas.
