About the company
Trek Travel is a premier active travel company specializing in guided cycling vacations and bike tours across the globe. Operating as a subsidiary of Trek Bicycle Corporation, the company curates premium, all-inclusive cycling experiences in destinations across Europe, North America, and beyond, with a focus on high-end service, small group sizes, and exceptional route planning. The company is headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, USA, and employs a team of travel experts, guides, and support staff who deliver seamless, luxury cycling adventures.
In Spain, Trek Travel operates guided cycling tours in popular regions such as Catalonia, Andalusia, and the Balearic Islands, offering international travelers the chance to explore the country's diverse landscapes by bike. The company's Spain-based roles are primarily seasonal and field-based, including tour leaders, bike mechanics, and logistics coordinators, making it an attractive option for adventurous professionals seeking immersive, location-based work. Trek Travel values a passion for cycling, customer service excellence, and cultural engagement, and it welcomes international applicants who bring language skills and a global perspective to its teams.
For International Professionals
- Seasonal roles in Spain often include housing or travel allowances, making it easier for international hires to relocate temporarily.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus for many Spain-based positions, but English is the primary working language for guest-facing roles.
- Trek Travel provides extensive training for guides and mechanics, including Trek bike-specific certifications, which can be valuable for career growth in the cycling industry.
- Positions are often tied to tour seasons (spring-fall), offering a flexible, non-traditional work schedule that appeals to digital nomads and adventure seekers.
- The company is part of the Trek Bicycle Corporation network, giving employees access to a global brand and potential internal mobility across other markets.
Company History
