- Experience in Product, Product Marketing, Portfolio Management, or similar areas, with the automotive sector being especially valued.
- High level of English, both for understanding documentation and conversations and for communicating autonomously in a professional environment.
- Good command of office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Analytical capacity and attention to detail.
- Organization and the ability to simultaneously manage different tasks and priorities.
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Initiative, proactivity, and results orientation.

The role

We are looking to hire a Product Specialist Consultant to join the Product Department of a leading company in the automotive sector. The person will join the Product team, reporting to one of the Product Managers, and will participate in the implementation of the product strategy, combining operational functions with participation in the definition and development of the strategy for the assigned models. This person must execute and support the product strategy for the models under your responsibility, participating in their positioning, pricing, promotions, launch, and lifecycle management, contributing to the achievement of sales, market share, and profitability objectives.

What you'll do

This will be a position with significant weight in management and operational execution, but it will also allow for the progressive development of a more strategic vision of the product.

- Participate, together with the Product Manager, in the definition and implementation of the product strategy for the assigned models.
- Manage the product portfolio throughout its entire lifecycle: introduction of new models, range updates, price changes, new versions, and trims.
- Create and keep updated the information for the assigned ranges in the different systems, ensuring their correct operation.
- Coordinate the launches of new models, working cross-functionally with areas such as Logistics, Press, Digital, Sales Planning, Finance, or Value Chain.
- Coordinate and participate in the preparation of product materials and information: bulletins, product sheets, catalogs, and documentation aimed at both the dealer network and other stakeholders.
- Provide support and responses to product-related inquiries coming from dealers and other internal departments, such as Customer Service or Legal.
- Review and validate product information generated by other areas: communication materials, digital content, press releases, etc.
- Collaborate regularly with Sales Planning in the preparation and monitoring of production mixes.
- Ensure correct coordination between the different areas involved to guarantee proper implementation of actions related to the assigned models.
- Experience in automotive will be valued, but is not essential. Candidates from other sectors who have worked in Product departments and have transferable experience to the position will also be considered.
