Requirements

What we're looking for

Knowledge in frontend test automation using TypeScript and Playwright.
Knowledge in API automation and validation using Postman, including the development of pre- and post-request scripts.
Knowledge of Git and GitLab.
Knowledge of functional testing.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary technical teams.
Quality orientation, attention to detail, and analytical capacity for problem-solving.

Nice to have

It will be a plus if you also have...

Experience using JMeter.
Knowledge of OWASP ZAP.
Experience or knowledge in application security.
Experience with Jenkins and/or Newman.

The role

At Unisys, we are looking to hire a QA Automation Engineer to contribute to the quality and reliability of technological solutions through the design, development, and maintenance of automated tests.

We are looking for a person with knowledge in frontend, backend, and API test automation, capable of working in agile environments and collaborating closely with development teams to drive quality practices and continuous testing.

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that ensure the quality of the applications and services developed by the technology teams.

You will work cross-functionally with developers, analysts, and other QA professionals to ensure adequate test coverage, identify issues early, and drive the integration of testing within development and deployment processes.

Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes through automation, the adoption of best practices, and support for continuous testing initiatives.

What you'll do

Develop and maintain automated tests for frontend and backend applications.
Design and implement automation solutions for API testing.
Participate in the automation of regression tests.
Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
Support continuous testing initiatives and quality improvement.
Execute and support functional testing.
Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, and QMetry for test management and tracking.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to diagnose and resolve issues related to software quality.
Promote automation best practices and continuous improvement within the team.
