• PhD, with an academic career in higher education institutions.
• English C1
• Minimum 10 years of experience in responsibility positions leading teams.
• Proven experience in academic management in universities, higher education centers, or equivalent institutions, or complex projects with a strong regulatory component.
• Demonstrated capacity for economic business management (P&L) and the supervision of commercial and operational activities.
• Experience and knowledge in the Health Sciences field, preferably,
• Knowledge of the Spanish university regulatory framework (affiliated centers, accreditations, quality).
• High capacity for leadership, influence, and stakeholder management.
• Result orientation, strategic vision, and strong execution capacity.

General Director Asturias

• Integrally lead the academic and non-academic areas of the Center, ensuring coherence between the educational model, the student experience, and business objectives
• Align the mission, activity, and development of the Affiliated Center with the strategy, mission, values, and policies of Universidad Europea and the Group.
• Propose and manage the Center's P&L, ensuring economic sustainability, budgetary control, and the achievement of profitability and growth objectives.
• Propose the Center's objectives, growth plans, and annual budgets, ensuring their coherence with corporate objectives and submitting them for approval to the University.
• Direct the global activity of the Center, driving its growth, economic sustainability, and positioning as a benchmark for higher education in the territorial area.
• Define and lead the organizational structure of the Center, promoting efficient resource management and the performance of academic and non-teaching teams.
• Guarantee the implementation and correct functioning of the academic, operational, and corporate processes defined by Universidad Europea (One University model).
• Ensure correct coordination with the central areas of UEM (Academic, HR, Finance, Marketing, Research, Quality, Legal, etc.).
• Define, in coordination with the UEM Marketing area, the positioning of the Affiliated Center and its differential value proposition in the local market.
• Drive the development of the Universidad Europea brand in Asturias, guaranteeing its correct application and awareness.
• Supervise communication, recruitment, sales, and student service plans, ensuring the fulfillment of growth and satisfaction objectives.
• Ensure deep knowledge of the local market, training needs, professional sectors, and employers, proposing an academic offering aligned with said demand.
• Institutionally represent the Center before public administrations, regulatory bodies, educational institutions, companies, and other relevant stakeholders in the environment.
• Lead the implementation of the Universidad Europea academic model in the Affiliated Center, ensuring teaching quality standards, student experience, and academic results.
• Supervise the development, updating, and innovation of the academic portfolio, in coordination with UEM and in accordance with current regulations.
• Guarantee that the Center's faculty meets the requirements of number, experience, accreditation, and competencies demanded by regulations.
• Promote the professional development of the teaching staff, in coordination with the academic and research areas of UEM.
• Drive initiatives for internationalization, employability, and links with the professional environment.
• Ensure that the Center's activity is carried out in compliance with current academic, regulatory, and legal regulations, at both national and regional levels.
• Guarantee compliance with affiliation agreements, commitments to Universidad Europea, and the requirements of regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate the quality, accreditation, and audit processes that apply to the Affiliated Center.
• Watch over the adequate management of the Center's academic, operational, and reputational risks.
