Sound knowledge of Xray and Jira and their integration into an automated testing framework is required. Experience with selenium grid would be considered an asset. A deep understanding of CI/CD pipeline and its automation technologies like Jenkins and GitLab is essential, along with strong Java development skills and advanced Java concepts.
Manual testing experience is required, and experience in the banking domain is essential. Experience in either T24 or Triple A is considered an advantage, as is experience working on both agile and classical delivery models. Higher education in Computer Science (University, University of Applied Sciences, or equivalent diploma) is necessary, and ISTQB foundation certification is essential. Selenium certification is also required.
The ideal candidate will possess very strong communication and planning skills, with excellent English language abilities in both written and verbal forms. They must be a strong team player, customer oriented with a focus on supporting the organization in developing and providing solutions. A very good understanding of software lifecycle and its operational management is critical, along with a high level of self-motivation to drive initiatives and initiate changes. The candidate should demonstrate a willingness to bring in new ideas and initiate changes.
Experience with Temenos T24/Transact is strongly preferred. The engineer must be able to automate test scenarios that navigate T24 screens, interact with T24 versioning and workflows, and validate transactional outputs across banking modules. Experience automating end-to-end test scenarios across integrated banking systems is crucial, including interfaces between T24 and satellite applications such as payment platforms, regulatory reporting tools, and document management systems like Papyrus/FileNet. Familiarity with core banking product flows - including account lifecycle, payment processing (SWIFT, SEPA), securities processing, and trade finance operations - is important. The candidate should have experience supporting automated testing in the context of core banking release upgrades or platform migrations, and the ability to maintain and adapt automated tests as business processes, regulations, and system configurations change, ensuring long-term regression stability.
