About the role

The HSE Coordinator (Health, Safety and Environment) is responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of policies and procedures related to occupational risk prevention, industrial safety, occupational health and the environment within the organization. Their work is key to ensuring safe working conditions and fostering a safety culture at all levels of the company.

What you'll do

  • HSE Area: Training and Awareness
  • Deliver Safety Notices as part of raising awareness of safe behaviors. 
  • Inspections and Audits
  • Carry out internal inspections in accordance with prevention regulations (first aid kits, signage).
  • Review machine safety in accordance with the current 1215 report.
  • Participate in cross and external audits. Ensure compliance with corrective actions arising from inspections and audits. Review the adequacy of Work Permits and act as a preventive resource when necessary.
  • Management of PPE, Emergencies and Health
  • Distribute and renew Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Keep the Emergency Plan up to date and coordinate drills.
  • Maintain the Emergency Team in terms of number of members and training (firefighting, first aid, etc.).
  • Organize medical check-up campaigns at the facilities and individual appointments.
  • Develop health promotion campaigns and programs.
  • Assessment and Documentation
  • Support the performance of hygiene measurements.
  • Ensure compliance with teleworking assessments.
  • Participate in risk assessments and propose preventive measures.
  • Collaborate in the development of HSE policies, procedures, instructions and documentation.
  • Keep the Preventive Activity Plan up to date.
  • Coordination of Business Activities
  • Ensure that all valid CAE documentation for external personnel is available and request any missing documentation. Keep documentation up to date on the CAE management platform. Carry out periodic reviews of CAE compliance.
  • Accidents and Health and Safety Committee
  • Collaborate in the investigation of accidents/incidents when they occur, within the legally established deadline, as well as in proposing corrective measures. Enter accident information into the Acciline platform. Communicate and follow up on corrective measures arising from accidents. Draft minutes, schedule and coordinate Health and Safety Committee meetings.
  • Purchasing and Budgets
  • Manage service budgets for the HSE area. Carry out the necessary procedures using tools such as Mercure.
  • Functions and Responsibilities – Security Area: Protection and Supervision
  • Collaborate with the Security Management in assessing security needs and implementing protective measures as deemed appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the Security Management in the investigations carried out.
  • Collaborate with the Security Management in the management of data protection.
  • Issuance, cancellation and assignment of permits for building and interior access cards.  
  • Purchasing and Budgets
  • Manage security budgets. Carry out necessary purchases using tools such as Mercure.  
  • Protocols and Maintenance
  • Collaborate with the Security Management in the implementation of alarm, access and CCTV protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Security Management in coordinating external security companies.
  • Update and supervise maintenance with suppliers.
  • Functions and Responsibilities – Workplace Area: Inspections and Audits
  • Carry out facility inspections according to the standard and implement immediate measures when necessary.
  • Establish and follow up on actions arising from inspections, according to the internal priority code.

What we're looking for

  • Technical training in Occupational Risk Prevention.
  • Knowledge of: Workplace Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics and Psychosociology.
  • 1–2 years of demonstrable experience in a similar position, junior profiles accepted.
  • Fluent Spanish and a good level of English is a nice to have.
  • Organizational skills, rigor, proactivity and the ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
