About the role

Due to the significant growth experienced in the Buildings | WSP sector, we are looking to enhance the capabilities of our Clean Tech & Manufacturing | WSP team in Madrid by adding a senior profile to take on the technical leadership and coordination of projects related to Clean Utilities, Cleanrooms, and Special Installations in advanced industrial projects.

What is the role?
We want to add to our Science & Technology team in Madrid a senior profile specialized in Clean Utilities, Cleanrooms, and Special Installations. You will participate in projects for pharmaceutical laboratories, biotechnology, radiopharmacy, semiconductors, battery gigafactories, data centers, and advanced manufacturing, contributing your experience in critical facilities and highly regulated environments. Your main duties will include defining technical solutions and Design Bases, integrating disciplines such as cleanrooms, critical HVAC, specialty gases, and process utilities, reviewing technical documentation, and liaising with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the quality of deliverables and the proper development of projects.

We are looking for a profile with a degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar, with more than 10 years of experience in complex industrial projects and a solid track record in critical facilities for sectors such as the pharmaceutical industry, GMP laboratories, biotechnology, radiopharmacy, semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, or gigafactories.

Experience will be required in disciplines such as Clean Utilities, Cleanrooms, HVAC for cleanrooms, Dry Rooms, process and specialty gases, high-purity water systems, chemicals, and other critical manufacturing systems, as well as in defining Design Bases, reviewing technical documentation, managing suppliers, and integrating disciplines in multidisciplinary projects. Experience in liaising with international clients and participating in complex engineering teams will also be valued.

A C1 level of English is essential, along with Mandarin Chinese knowledge at a B1-B2 level or higher, proficiency in MS Project, and availability for occasional travel both nationally and internationally.
