We are looking for an accounting technician with experience in works and assets. You will ensure the accounting and financial control of the company's investments, works and assets, providing reliable information for decision-making and contributing to efficient resource management.

What you'll do

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial and management accounting of the assigned companies.
  • Carry out the accounting and financial monitoring of works, renovations, investments and assets, ensuring cost and variance control.
  • Control budgets, actual costs, commitments made, pending costs and closing forecasts.
  • Oversee the correct accounting of invoices, work certificates, advances, suppliers, fixed assets and other movements related to investments and assets.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports on costs, variances, cash flow needs and economic performance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure clear and up-to-date financial reporting.
  • Manage asset registrations, accounting allocations, depreciations and associated documentation.
  • Process and control supplier payments, ensuring their correct accounting and cash flow forecasting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closings, as well as collaborate in the preparation and filing of taxes.
  • Propose improvements in control, reporting and financial monitoring processes.

What we're looking for

Requirements:

  • Education in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar. Higher education in Administration and Finance with solid experience will also be valued.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in finance departments, accounting, controlling, auditing or financial management.
  • Experience in monitoring works, renovations, investments, assets, CAPEX, construction, real estate, hospitality or property management.
  • Good knowledge of Spanish financial accounting and the accounting treatment of assets and fixed assets.
  • Ability to analyze budgets, certificates, invoices, variances and cost forecasts.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP or financial management tools is a plus.
  • Languages: native Spanish and basic/intermediate English.
