Requirements

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience as a bicycle mechanic, with good diagnostic and repair skills (experience with e-bikes or e-mopeds will be valued)
Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical people
Previous experience in retail or a customer service environment
Problem-solving ability and the ability to manage your own workload
Knowledge of workshop safety procedures
Familiarity with lithium-ion batteries
Spanish is essential; other languages will be valued

Nice to have

Experience in the sector (cycling, delivery, mobility, or technology) will be valued

The role

This is a customer-facing role that combines workshop repairs with customer service tasks. You will be the first point of contact for riders when they arrive at the center and the person who gets them safely back on the road. At least half of your time will be dedicated to bicycle maintenance and repair.

What you'll do

Welcoming riders, understanding their repair and maintenance needs, and offering them efficient and friendly service
Managing the daily appointment schedule and handling walk-in repairs
Diagnosing and repairing e-bikes (and e-mopeds where applicable), explaining the problem and the solution clearly
Performing high-quality repairs that ensure the safety of the rider and the vehicle
Processing repair documentation, handling inquiries, and ensuring that subscriptions are paid regularly and on time
Occasionally attending to roadside assistance requests
When there is no Field Ops Associate (fleet recovery) at the center, occasionally collaborating on the recovery of Zoomo assets when it is possible and safe to do so
Keeping the workshop tidy, clean, and safe, and collaborating with the rest of the team.
