As a UX Researcher Senior you will have the opportunity to:

• Collaborate on strategic and innovative initiatives that improve the experience of internal users, such as underwriters, claims handlers, and other business teams across Zurich.
• Lead end-to-end research activities across multiple projects, from discovery and user interviews to usability testing, insights synthesis, and recommendations.
• Support product and business teams in understanding user needs, behaviours, pain points, and opportunities, helping shape more user-centred solutions.
• Contribute to the design and validation of innovative experiences, including conversational AI, intelligent workflows, and emerging digital solutions.
• Partner with UX/UI designers, product owners, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure user insights are considered throughout the product lifecycle.
• Drive evidence-based decision making through a combination of user research, business understanding, market trends, and qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Explore new research approaches, tools, and technologies that help the team continuously improve the way we understand and support our users.
• Work across multiple initiatives simultaneously, balancing priorities while maintaining a high standard of research quality and impact.
• Enhance your skills through exposure to complex enterprise products, AI-enabled experiences, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Contribute to a team that values curiosity, innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

We are particularly interested in someone who sees research not only as a validation activity, but as a way to uncover opportunities, challenge assumptions, and help teams make better-informed decisions.

• You have significant experience as a UX Researcher working on digital products, enterprise platforms, or complex user journeys.
• You are skilled in a wide range of research methodologies, including user interviews, usability testing, discovery research, surveys, workshops, and concept validation.
• You can translate research findings into clear, actionable insights into clear recommendations that support product, business, and design decisions.
• You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and identifying the right questions before jumping to solutions.
• You have experience working with complex stakeholder environments where business objectives, user needs, operational realities, and technical constraints must be balanced.
• You bring a strategic mindset and are able to connect user insights with broader business goals and opportunities.
• You are proactive, curious, and continuously look for opportunities to improve products, services, and ways of working.
• You have strong storytelling and communication skills, allowing you to influence decisions through evidence, insights, and actionable recommendations
• You are comfortable working on multiple initiatives simultaneously and adapting to changing priorities.
• Experience with AI-enabled experiences, conversational interfaces, intelligent assistants, automation, or emerging technologies is highly desirable.
• Experience with UX/UI design, prototyping, Figma, service design, or front-end technologies would be considered a strong advantage.

• You are able to manage and prioritize research activities across multiple projects simultaneously.
• You can independently plan research initiatives, define objectives, manage timelines, and deliver meaningful outcomes.
• You are organised, adaptable, and comfortable operating in dynamic environments with evolving priorities.
• You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• You can facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and alignment activities that help teams move forward with confidence.
• You are able to identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities throughout the research lifecycle.
• You understand how to influence decisions through evidence, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
• You can build alignment among diverse stakeholders while maintaining a strong focus on user needs and business value.
