Requirements

What we're looking for

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in high voltage electrical line projects, overhead and underground.

• Experience in technical project management or engineering package coordination, with the ability to act as Project Manager for their discipline.

• Solid knowledge of HV line design and construction principles: routing, conductors or cables, supports or conduits, foundations, grounding, safety clearances, and constructability.

• Ability to review technical documentation and third-party calculations, without the need to personally perform all specialized calculations.

• Knowledge of electrical regulations and standard requirements of utility companies and grid operators.

• Experience working with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Fluent English, minimum C1 level, as the working language with the client.

• Proficiency in management, reporting, and documentation tools.

• Availability for periodic travel to project sites.

Nice to have

• Experience in Oversight Engineering, Owner's Engineer, technical assistance, or engineering and construction supervision.

• Experience in data centers, large energy consumers, grid connections, or international projects.

• Knowledge of Grid Code Compliance and interfaces with substations and protection and control.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD, PLS-CADD, GIS, or other software related to electrical lines.

We execute Owner's Engineering (Oversight Engineering) services for hyperscale data center projects in Europe, including high voltage transmission and distribution infrastructures. We are looking for an HV Lines Project Manager to lead the technical supervision and management of this scope in one or more portfolio projects, in coordination with the global OE manager.

We are looking for a Technical Lead and Project Manager for the lines scope in OE projects for Data Centers. You will report to the Lead OE Manager and will be the package interface for the client, the D&B contractor, the Engineer of Record, and the utility companies. You will manage planning, deliverables, reviews, interfaces, and risks during design, construction, and commissioning.

What you'll do

• Manage the HV lines scope, including planning, milestones, deliverables, resources, actions, and risks.

• Be the package point of contact for the client, contractors, engineering firms, and utility companies.

• Lead scope coordination meetings during design, construction, and commissioning.

• Coordinate reviews of drawings, reports, calculations, specifications, and procedures, verifying their alignment with requirements, regulations, and design criteria.

• Manage review comments, RFIs, technical submittals, deviations, and action logs.

• Review and challenge solutions proposed by the D&B contractor and their Engineer of Record, requesting specialist support when necessary.

• Coordinate interfaces with substations, protection and control, civil works, permitting, construction, and commissioning.

• Track progress, identify deviations, and escalate risks with mitigation proposals.

• Participate in site visits, inspections, testing, and commissioning when necessary.

• Prepare reporting for their scope and ensure correct documentation management.
