Requirements

What we're looking for

Education: Technical Engineering/Degree in electrical or electronic specialty.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in HV/MV substation control and protection projects.
Knowledge of Spanish electrical regulations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D at an advanced user level.
English level B2 or higher.

Nice to have

Valuable knowledge:
- Knowledge of ENDESA regulations and design criteria for control and protection systems.
- Knowledge of the IEC61850 standard.
- Proficiency in EPLAN.
- Proficiency in specific software for modeling and simulation of electrical networks (DigSilent, Cape, ETAP, etc.).
- Knowledge of communication systems for HV/MV electrical substations.
- Experience in the design and setting of substation protections.

- Solid technical, critical, and analytical capacity, oriented towards efficient problem-solving.
- Ability to interpret and analyze results from studies and calculations, with a critical and constructive approach.

The role

We are looking for a High and Medium Voltage Substation Control and Protection Engineer, who will join the T&D Substations work team of the Generation and Networks Unit at BOSLAN to carry out activities such as:
- Preparation of control and protection schemes for HV/MV electrical substations (Single-line diagrams, Developed diagrams, Panel Fronts and Material Lists, Signal and cable lists, etc.).
- Review of control and protection engineering and auxiliary services for HV/MV electrical substations.
- Drafting and review of specifications and technical requirements for the procurement of main HV/MV substation equipment.
- Performance of electrical calculations related to the control and protection system of HV/MV electrical substations (Voltage and current transformers, LV conductors, etc.).
- Design and calculation of the auxiliary services system for HV/MV electrical substations.
- Technical support to clients regarding the design of the control and protection system for HV/MV electrical substations.
