The role

ACCIONA, in its Facility Services business, is selecting a Maintenance and Works Category Manager for its Madrid delegation.

Mission:
Execute the project parts assigned within their unit/department, according to established procedures, to facilitate compliance with established deadlines and coordinate the necessary resources (human and material), driving the contribution of significant improvements to the project.

Sub-function responsible for all tasks associated with sourcing goods and services for all types of business processes applicable to the organization, including product supply activities, supplier selection, price negotiations, and order processing.

What you'll do

- Support in the preparation of the category plan for maintenance and works, HVAC, electricity, etc.
- Ensure compliance with the Corporate Purchasing and supplier evaluation Standards, as well as AFS purchasing procedures and systems.
- Intervene in the bidding phase and the tender phase of projects or specific purchases for the business units.
- Lead cross-functional teams (if applicable) to cover the needs of maintenance and works purchasing projects.
- Measure the KPIs of each tender/Framework Agreement. Analyze whether current agreements help project development or if it is necessary to include new conditions or even sign new agreements.
- Define suppliers and candidates for project agreements, as well as analyze supplier responses, execute qualification models, and prepare bid evaluation documentation for decision-making.
- Internal client management: develop close relationships with business units to anticipate purchasing needs and improvements in purchasing processes or service levels. As well as providing assistance (if necessary) in planning, reporting, and the development of budgets and objectives.
