Mechanical Coordinator

ACCIONA, in its Industrial Business line, needs to incorporate three mechanical coordinators for a project in the PV EPC area of Renewables in Guadalajara (Spain).

Coordinate the logistics and mechanical assembly of all plant components, ensuring compliance with the safety, quality, cost, and deadline objectives required by the company and the client.

• Represent the company before subcontractors, if any, within the scope of their responsibilities.

• Management of the subcontractor contract, if any, within the scope of their responsibilities.

• Drafting of the technical specifications for subcontracting their execution units, with special attention to scopes, execution units, measurement and payment, and construction chronology with control milestones.

• Cooperate with the Site Manager and Project Manager in the preparation of the cost budget for presentation to the Executive Committee and the Country Manager.

• Guarantee compliance with the approved cost budget (whether Execution with Subcontractors or Own Resources).

• Responsible for the certification process of their activities, for subcontractors, if any, together with the other departments.

• Issuance of periodic (economic) reports to the Site Manager and/or Corporate Coordinator showing deviations (positive and/or negative) in their costs and their deadlines (whether subcontractors or Own Resources).

• Management of their activities with deadline and cost objectives.

• Periodic economic reporting of the activities and contract under their management.

• Full compliance with the health and safety of all personnel under their charge, in accordance with the regulations of each country.

• Control of the Schedule of their activities and interferences with other activities (Monitor/analyze progress together with the Site Manager and report possible deviations and present action plans).

• Coordination of multidisciplinary work teams belonging to the project and subcontractors.

• Direction and coordination of the works, including guaranteeing compliance with the work plan; Carrying out periodic reports (Daily and/or Weekly and/or Monthly) or reporting the data to the personnel in charge of preparing them.

• Ensure that construction is carried out in accordance with the approved quality standards and construction processes and the installation manual from the structure supplier.

• Execution and coordination of internal meetings for the proper coordination of all project participants.

• Execution and coordination of work meetings with the Site Manager, jointly evaluating any project needs.

• Ensure the coordination of the different areas of the project (subcontractors, HSEQ, Procurement and Logistics, Surveying, etc.)

• Ensure the supervision of all technical activities of the project.

• Ensure the coordination of the actions of the supervision team.

• Know and organize all technical information/documentation when the works are completed.

• Participation, together with the Production Team, in the performance evaluation of material and/or service providers.

• Comply with the safety, quality, and environmental requirements defined in the Management Plans and Execution Procedures, ensuring compliance with said requirements for risk control, compliance with client requirements, and correct environmental performance.

• Exhaustive quality assurance of the works under their supervision.

• Guarantee compliance with safety guidelines, especially for personnel directly under their responsibility.
