What we're looking for

More than 3 years of experience designing and developing batch and real-time processes with Apache Spark in the Cloudera ecosystem.
High level of Scala on Spark and knowledge of Java.
Experience with HDFS, Hive, Kudu, and Solr.
Deep knowledge of Apache Kafka, both at an architectural and development level.
Experience with GCP and BigQuery.
Knowledge of dbt, SQL, and Python.
Experience with Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage.
Experience with Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, and CI/CD.
Process planning with Control-M.
Experience working with Scrum methodologies.
Autonomy, decision-making ability, and good communication skills.

Nice to have

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer - Big Data & Cloud!

What you'll do

🔹 Main responsibilities

Design and evolve batch and real-time data architectures on Cloudera and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Develop and maintain data ingestion, storage, and transformation processes using Spark, Scala, BigQuery, dbt, SQL, and Python.
Work with data architectures, data governance, and production process optimization.
Participate in backlog planning, technical estimations, and coordination with the Product Owner.
Collaborate with the client, IT and business teams, and participate in demos.
Resolve production incidents and supervise processes using Control-M.
Ensure technical best practices and guide the rest of the team.
