As a Senior Accountant, you will report directly to the Director of Finance or, failing that, to the Finance Manager and will work closely with the hotel's finance team. Your main responsibilities will be

· Perform monthly bank reconciliations of accounting accounts and ensure the correct reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.

· Review and audit payroll.

· Prepare monthly financial reports and closing documentation.

· Manage the accounting closure of the financial system (monthly, quarterly, and annual within the established deadlines).

· Participate in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and corporate financial reports.

· Analyze budget deviations and propose corrective measures.

· Actively participate in the external audit of the annual accounts; and internal audit of the hotel.

· Prepare the owner's accounting.

What we're looking for

- University degree in Business Administration and Management, Accounting, Economics, or similar; Master's in Accounting, Financial Management, or Management Control.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting, auditing, or finance positions.

- Proficiency in Spanish general accounting, internal control and auditing, taxation and taxes, bank reconciliations, accounting closures, and preparation of financial statements.

- Experience in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and budget control; monthly closings and corporate reporting.

- Advanced handling of Microsoft Office.

- Knowledge of hotel and financial management systems, preferably Opera and BirchStreet.

- High level of English, with experience in international hotel environments being positively valued.
