We are looking to hire a Senior Fire Protection Specialist to participate in international projects in the Oil & Gas and Energy sector, leading the development of fire protection systems and ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulations, and established deadlines.
To develop and coordinate fire protection engineering in large-scale industrial projects, being responsible for the technical definition, regulatory compliance, and proper integration of fire protection systems with the rest of the project disciplines.
Define and technically review fire protection systems in industrial projects.
Analyze, interpret, and apply project codes, specifications, and technical documentation.
Design automatic fire detection and protection systems.
Prepare the technical documentation required for tenders and quotation requests.
Analyze and carry out technical comparisons of supplier quotations.
Follow up on technical documentation from manufacturers and suppliers.
Provide technical support during project inspections and reviews.
Coordinate the fire protection discipline with the rest of the engineering specialties.
Ensure compliance with costs, deadlines, and quality throughout project development.
Manage the planning and monitoring of the assigned team's activities.

Technical or higher degree in Industrial Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Mechanics or Construction.
At least 10 years of experience as a Fire Protection Specialist in engineering companies in the Oil & Gas and Energy sectors.
Experience in industrial plant projects in petrochemicals, chemicals, refining, fertilizers, or power generation.
Solid knowledge of fire protection system design.
Advanced level of English.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with design tools such as HASS, Carrier, or similar software.
Knowledge of international codes and standards, especially NFPA.
Experience working with international client specifications.
