• Solid experience as a Chief Engineer or in equivalent technical leadership positions in complex engineering programs.
• Previous experience in the Defense sector, with special value placed on participation in complex and high-criticality systems.
• Advanced knowledge of systems engineering, complex systems integration, and product life cycle management.
• Experience leading the definition of system architectures and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage technical relationships with clients, industrial partners, suppliers, and certification bodies.
• Experience in the management of requirements, risks, configurations, changes, and critical incidents.
• Knowledge of multidisciplinary technologies: hardware, software, embedded systems, and industrialization.
• Knowledge of aeronautical standards DO-178 and DO-254.
• Leadership and influence capacity in matrix environments.
• Global system vision, high analytical capacity, and results orientation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and priority management skills in high-demand environments.
• Minimum professional English B2, C1 is valued.
• Ability to obtain or possess valid Personal Security Clearance (HPS).

We want to recruit a Chief Engineer with experience in technical leadership of complex engineering programs, preferably in the Defense sector to join development and integration projects for high-criticality complex systems.

💡 What will you do?

• Define and lead the technical strategy of the program, ensuring the balance between performance, costs, deadlines, risks, and industrialization throughout the entire product life cycle.
• Lead the definition and evolution of system architectures, guaranteeing a global and integrated vision of the solution.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams in matrix environments, integrating diverse engineering disciplines.
• Act as the primary technical point of reference for clients, industrial partners, and internal teams.
• Guarantee compliance with technical, regulatory, certification, and safety requirements.
• Lead the management of risks, configurations, changes, and critical program incidents.
• Ensure the technological and industrial maturity of the solutions during all phases of the life cycle.
• Contribute to technical planning by defining milestones, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage technical communication with clients, industrial partners, suppliers, and certification bodies.
• Supervise the integration of complex systems and coordinate systems engineering activities.
